If you love beer, research from the comparison website Money.co.uk may make deciding where to go on your next vacation a little easier.

The website looked at 40 destinations that are known for being good places to visit if you like beer. It worked out the number of breweries each city had per 10,000 people; the number of bars, pubs, and clubs per 10,000 people; and the average price of a pint — or large glass — of beer. Based on this data, gave each city a score out of 10.

Asheville, North Carolina, was named the winner with a score of 8.41 out of 10. The city had 2.8 breweries per 10,000 people; 7.86 bars, pubs, and clubs per 10,000 people; and the average price of a pint was $4.94.

Visitors to the city can also enjoy beer festivals, brewery tours, and even try beer ice cream.

Prague, Czech Republic, was second, followed by Krakow, Poland; Fort Collins, Colorado; and Cincinnati, Ohio.

Tokyo was 31st on the list with 0.04 breweries per 10,000 people; 0.91 bars, pubs, and clubs per 10,000 people; and the average pint costing $4.47.

If you're just looking for the cheapest place for a pint of beer, Money.co.uk found that Buenos Aires, Argentina, was the place to go. The average price of a pint there was $1.62.

Prague, Czech Republic, was the second cheapest at $1.85, followed by Mexico City, Mexico, at $1.95.
