Amy: Oh. What a beautiful painting. Did you do that?

Beth: Yes, I’ve been learning to paint since last year. I go to classes every Saturday.

Amy: It looks like you have been painting for years.

Beth: Thanks. I’m flattered.

Amy: Is it difficult? I always wanted to try it but I didn’t know where to start.

Beth: To be honest, there are a lot of things to learn but part of the fun is just doing it. I mean, it doesn’t need to be perfect.

Amy: Maybe I’ll try it.

Beth: You should! And it’s a great way to deal with stress.

Amy: Actually, I started going to mixed martial arts classes this year.

Beth: Wow. Remind me not to start a fight with you.

Amy: It’s tough. But I feel great afterward and I feel much more confident.

Beth: Maybe I’ll try it next year.
