A noun can be countable or uncountable.
COUNTABLE
Countable Nouns - individual people, animals, places, things, or ideas that can be counted.
A countable noun has two forms:
Singular - only one
Plural - two or more
For example,
Banana - Bananas
Apple - Apples
Car - Cars
UNCOUNTABLE
Uncountable nouns - anything that cannot be counted.
An uncountable noun has only one form.
For example,
Rice
Water
Ari
We use how much and how many to ask about quantities.
Much + uncountable nouns
Many + countable nouns
For example
How much money do you have?
We don’t have much time to go around the mall.
I still have many eggs in the fridge. We don’t need to buy some.
