The public can now shop at Amazon's first automated store. In the Seattle headquarters of the company, there is a grocery store called Amazon Go. The grocery store, which sells food, salads, and packed dinners, may transform how we shop in the future.

A mobile app linked to an Amazon account recognizes your presence as soon as you enter the store. Many infrared cameras are used to keep track of everything that occurs in the business. Your virtual shopping cart is automatically populated as you select products from the shelves. The cameras can also tell when you take something out of your cart and put it back on the shelf. Without taking any physical action, your account gets charged as you leave.

Nonetheless, there were challenges to overcome throughout the store's first year of operation. For instance, cameras struggle to differentiate between various flavors or similar-looking goods. They struggle to deal with persons who move around or recognize shoppers wearing similar clothing and body types. 

There are store employees who refill merchandise and guide customers around, even if there are no checkout counters or cashiers who make you wait in line.
