Netflix's foreign-language shows' U.S. viewership has grown by over 50% this year. Korean dramas almost tripled in Netflix watching, but Spanish, German, and French shows were popular. The fourth season of the Spanish criminal show "Money Heist" was one of the 10 most popular shows in 92 countries this year.

Netflix has provided additional data on what its users watch to prove what is successful and refute complaints that shows get lost due to the enormous number of series and films on offer. Netflix has spent billions developing series in several languages, unlike most U.S. media corporations.

Over the last decade and this year, that tactic has helped the company attract foreign consumers. In the fourth quarter, the business expects to reach 200 million subscribers worldwide. Europe, the Middle East, and Africa account for 62 million of its users.

Still, Netflix's most well-known shows are in English.

This summer, Netflix listed its 10 most popular original movies in English. Netflix reported epidemic viewership trends. In March and April, searches for home baking shows and melancholy movies rose over 50%. Comedy watching peaked in October.
