A new work ethic has been silently spreading throughout offices, factories, and workplaces around the world. Workers are increasingly accepting the idea of "quiet quitting." Workers are gradually abandoning performing tasks that are not part of their contract in this rising phenomenon. "Quiet quitting is the process of coming to work to achieve the minimum requirements of your role in the time that you're there, then leaving. No offers of overtime, no stepping outside your designated obligations, no going the extra mile. It's the silent withdrawal of extra labor to mitigate what are perceived as unreasonable pressures," according to the website entrepreneur.com.

Quitting quietly has grown in popularity after the coronavirus outbreak. People's attitudes regarding employment are changing. They have resolved to establish a more satisfying work-life balance and avoid job burnout. Workers are abandoning unpaid tasks that they formerly performed freely at their employment. They perform the bare minimum and depart promptly at five o'clock. Some bosses retaliate with what is known as "quiet firing." This is when managers attempt to persuade staff to quit. They accomplish this by not boosting wages, neglecting employee ideas, and excluding them from meetings. According to LinkedIn research, 48% of employees had seen silent termination in the workplace.
