Most presentations, whether online or in person, include a speaker and a visual aid, such as Microsoft Powerpoint. How can you make your presentation more fascinating and memorable?

Before you begin, determine the Aim of your presentation; what do you want the audience to do once you finish? Purchase your merchandise, for example, or agree on a project budget.

At the start of your presentation, define the essential points you will cover, and at the end, summarize these key points again.

Keep the number of words on each slide to a minimum. If your slide has a lot of writing on it, your audience will spend time reading it. Your words will be lost because they will not be heard.

Instead, include intriguing information and good imagery that reinforce what you're saying on your PowerPoint. Each slide takes roughly 2 minutes to complete. Allow folks time to assimilate the information rather than rushing them.
